Last night, my friend and I had tons of fun shopping and looking for furniture for my condo. We were at RC Willey with a carpet sample from the condo checking to see if the couch I put on hold would clash with the carpet. We decided that it worked and the couch was so comfortable that we were just sitting there having a conversation about something totally unrelated when a salesman came up. Since we had already waived two others away, we paused, waiting for him to ask if we needed anything. Actually, he was coming over to use the computer next to the couch and apologized for interrupting our conversation. We teased him about coming into "our living room" and intruding on our private conversation and we were all laughing about it.
Later, we decided to go look for other smaller chairs that would go with the couch. Success! We found the cutest chair that was SO comfortable! We just needed to see what it looked like with the couch. So, we went in search of a saleman to haul it over for us. (Funny, they seem to be all over the place until you actually need one.) When we finally found one, he offered to have the partner of the salesman I was working with earlier on the couch come and help. We waited while he went to find him and sure enough...it was the salesman we had been teasing earlier! He was very gracious and carried the chair over to the other side of the store so we could decide if it would work. Unfortunately, we decided that the chair was too modern for the couch. But, after further discussion of where I was moving, he informed me that I am moving into his ward! He is the ward mission leader and gave me all the info about the ward. It sounds like a good one...one less thing to worry about. :) Let that be a lesson to you all. Always be nice to the salesman because you never know if you might get to see him every Sunday.
